Official language of instruction is Serbian. All courses offered to foreign students are taught in English. Minimal language proficiency is B2.

Informatics

Undergraduate studies

The world is on the verge of the 4th industrial revolution that requires new abilities, skills and competence. Information technologies (IT) through the processes of digitalization change the business models of all industries and thus create the need for new competent and qualified staff.

The purpose of the study program Informatics is to develop experts in the field of IT, especially applied informatics, who possess competence and skills, in line with the requirements of the economy and society.

The aim of the study program Informatics is to train students for proactive, creative and team work and use of the latest information technologies in the processes of digitalization of society such as: design, realization, implementation, maintenance and improvement of information systems and its components; testing and assessment of software products and systems; design, implementation and maintenance of databases; administration of computer networks; web design; e-business; application of artificial intelligence and expert systems; training staff for tasks in IT sector.

Undergraduate studies

Kragujevac is the city whose industry began in 19th century, and for more than 70 years, Kragujevac has been producing competent and recognized engineers, both in Serbia and abroad, in the field of mechanical engineering. With the arrival of Fiat in 2010 and Siemens in 2018, and their suppliers, the demand for mechanical engineers additionally increased.

Industrial engineering is the essence of the mechanical engineering and covers the knowledge necessary to transform the starting material into the final product.

The aim of the study program is to create experts in the field of mechanical engineering for work in diverse and dynamic conditions. The study program is designed to enable students to design technologies, tools and machines necessary for processing materials, maintain and exploit production facilities and plants.

The master study program Road Traffic Engineering resulted from the need of the market for traffic engineers trained to perform tasks related to planning and design of road systems; expertise in traffic accidents; managing and controlling processes and systems in various areas and technologies of road traffic, transport and logistics.

After completing the study program, the student acquires the following general abilities:

After mastering the study program, the student acquires the following subject-specific competences:

  • to identify key interdependence of traffic system and economic and social environment, with regard to the conditions of the global market;
  • to identify advantages of certain types of traffic in application and problem-solving of actual cases;
  • to connect knowledge in the field of traffic (especially road traffic), economy, organization, management and informatics to create optimal transport system;
  • to apply knowledge and skills for efficient use of natural resources in road traffic, in line with the principles of energy efficiency, environmental protection and sustainable development;
  • comprehensive knowledge and understanding of professional knowledge, using appropriate methods and procedures, related to selected areas of road transport;
  • to regulate urban and rural traffic and manage street network traffic;
  • to regulate and organize parking in urban areas, and design, organize and exploit the appropriate infrastructure;
  • to manage road transport processes and road transport systems, with a special focus on international achievements, conditions and requirements;
  • to apply new technologies and approaches in transport solutions in cities, and different ways of meeting the needs for mobility of passengers;
  • to implement new concepts in traffic management in specific conditions, in accordance with European and world achievements and choices;
  • to apply new technologies in the field of road traffic based on the achievements of modern information and communication technologies;
  • to apply modern methods in investigation of traffic accidents;
  • to apply modern methods for optimization and decision making, especially using new information technologies.
